Sharon has a major in Animal Health and Disease for her undergraduate degree, before completing her studies to become a veterinarian. She enjoy’s the daily variation that goes hand in hand with being a veterinarian – working between consulting, performing surgeries, working up cases with diagnostics and everything in between. Sharon’s interests are internal and emergency medicine, as well as behaviour, and any thing that involves greyhounds!
Sharon chose to work at SAH given our ability to keep all surgery cases in clinic, taking the opportunity to advance her own surgical skills beyond those of general practice under the guide of Dr Karin Davids.
As well as her love for animals, she enjoys watching movies and documentaries, and spending time with family and friends.
