Put the guar gum in a 250 ml beaker and add 80 ml of tap water, stir with rod<br \/>\n2. In another beaker, dissolve the borax in 30 mls of HOT tap water<br \/>\n3. Add the glycerol to the guar gum solution and keep stirring. While stirring add one or two drops of food colouring<br \/>\n4. Slowly add the borax solution to the guar gum solution, stirring it constantly.
