LABNETWEST Inc. is the Association of Science Technicians in Independent Schools in Western Australia. We are incorporated as a charitable institution established for the advancement of education.
Our purpose is to provide interaction between Science Technicians; promote ideas and solutions to practical problems; facilitate Professional Development sessions and a support network and encourage the exchange of information with other scientific groups. Our support network also includes access through our own list server.

I am thrilled to be the inaugural Patron of LABNETWEST; it is an honour and a privilege.
During my tenure as Western Australia’s Chief Scientist from 2006-2013, I had the opportunity to visit many schools and saw the vital role that Science Technicians play in the education of our young people.
